Reporting channels
Your face or voice was used without permission. Where do you report it?
Korean portals and communities, government bodies and global platforms, gathered in one place, with what each channel asks for and who is allowed to file it.
The directory below is free to read. Nothing on this page needs an account.
Do this first
The order matters. A report filed without evidence is usually rejected.
- 1Save the evidence
Capture the whole screen so the page is visible, and save the URL with it. Posts disappear without warning.
- 2Check it
Run it through the misuse check. No account is needed, and the result stays at a link you can cite as evidence.
- 3File it
Pick the channel below that covers where you found it. Gather everything that channel asks for and file it all at once.
The directory
Every channel accepts reports differently. There are 19 of them, and what each asks for and who may file it is copied from what the channel itself states.
Korean portals
Naver Rights Protection Center
Representative filing accepted, mandate letter requiredOne window covers likeness, defamation and copyright. A filing suspends the post and notifies the poster of the stated reason; if the poster objects within 30 days the post is restored, and a restored post cannot be reported again on the same ground. Put your full evidence in the first filing.
What this channel asks for- Naver sign-in and identity verification
- Post addresses, up to 50 per request
- A note saying which image shows you, and where
- A file that establishes your likeness right
- For a representative, a mandate letter and the representative ID
https://right.naver.com/Open the reporting page
Kakao and Daum rights infringement report
Representative filing accepted, mandate letter requiredCovers KakaoTalk, Daum Cafe and Daum news comments. Download the form from the guide page and submit it through the customer centre form; no Kakao sign-in is needed and the reply goes to the email you enter. Kakao states five business days, and posts not first reported inside the app are handled more slowly.
What this channel asks for- The report form downloaded from the guide page
- A copy of ID with the resident number suffix masked
- Evidence that the right was infringed
- For a representative, a mandate letter and the representative ID

Search
Google Search personal content removal
Representative filing accepted, mandate letter requiredThis delists from Search; it does not delete the source page. Google states that you or a representative can start the request, so run it alongside a takedown to the site itself. Any URL you omit stays in the index.
What this channel asks for- The URLs of the search results at issue
- Which category applies, such as doxxing or personal sexual content
- Where in the content you are identifiable
https://support.google.com/websearch/troubleshooter/3111061Open the reporting page
Google legal removal request
Representative filing accepted, mandate letter requiredThis is the window for removals grounded in law rather than policy. The form asks outright whether you are authorized to act on someone else’s behalf, so representative filings are accepted but must be declared. There is a country step; choose Korea when you rely on Korean law.
What this channel asks for- Which Google product, such as Search, YouTube or Blogger
- The legal ground, such as defamation or exposure of private information
- Whether you are the person or are authorized to act for them
- The URLs at issue and why

Korean communities
Clien post takedown request
Representative filing accepted, mandate letter requiredNo Clien account is needed, only real-name verification. When the requester is not the person whose rights were infringed, a mandate letter is mandatory and its absence is grounds for rejection. Illegal filming is a separate type on the same screen and requires the official form attached as a zip.
What this channel asks for- Real-name verification by Toss or mobile phone
- A request type: defamation, copyright, or other rights infringement
- Post links, up to five per request
- A mandate letter when the requester is not the victim
- For an organization, a mandate letter and proof of employment

TheQoo takedown request
Rightis can file this for youTakedowns under article 44-2 of the Network Act are received by email. Download the report and mandate forms from the guide page and attach them filled in; an ID copy without the required masking is sent back. A suspended post returns if the poster objects within 30 days and the objection succeeds.
What this channel asks for- The infringement report form from the guide page
- A copy of ID with the resident number suffix and issue date masked
- For a representative, a mandate letter and the representative ID
- For a company, a copy of the business registration

MLBPARK illegal filming report
Rightis can file this for youThis window takes illegal filming and falsified sexual imagery only, which covers a face or voice synthesised into sexual content; send the completed form by email and the site says it removes and blocks. Nothing else is documented for general likeness complaints, which have to go to the same address as an inquiry.
What this channel asks for- The form downloaded from the guide page, filled in
- The post URLs
- Which statutory category applies

Nate Pann rights protection centre
You file this yourselfThe person claiming infringement submits a report form and evidence to have the post suspended. The post comes down and the poster is notified; with no restoration request inside 30 days it stays down for good. If the poster does ask within 30 days the post returns, and a review finding is then what settles it.
What this channel asks for- The report form and supporting documents
- The URLs of the posts you want suspended
- An ID copy following the stated masking rule

Government and statutory bodies
Korea Communications Standards Commission rights infringement review
Representative filing accepted, mandate letter requiredThe state window for when a platform refuses or does not answer. A legal or mandated representative may apply, so a firm can file, but the person submitting completes their own phone verification and attaches proof of the mandate. Applicant data is kept for three years after the case closes.
What this channel asks for- Identity verification by mobile phone or i-PIN
- The applicant name, date of birth, address and contact
- The URLs of the posts at issue
- For a representative, documents proving the mandate

National Center for Digital Sexual Crime Victim Support
You file this yourselfFree deletion support and spread monitoring for illegal filming, non-consensual sharing, threats to share and deepfakes, with police, legal and medical referrals. The line is 02-735-8994, weekdays 08:00 to 22:00 and weekends and holidays 09:00 to 18:00. It is a statutory reporting body, so it asks platforms for removal on the victim’s behalf.
What this channel asks for- Images or video showing that the victim is you
- The post titles and URLs
- An account of how the material spread
https://d4u.stop.or.kr/Open the reporting page
Korean National Police cybercrime report system
You file this yourselfOnly the victim may file; representatives and third parties are told to visit a police station, call 182, or use the citizen petition portal. No firm can file here on someone’s behalf, so the person signs in themselves, with evidence saved in advance and uploaded in one go.
What this channel asks for- Citizen login and identity verification
- The facts of the harm and the URLs where you found it
- Saved screenshots and message logs

Directory of bodies that may report and demand deletion of illegal filming
You file this yourselfA government directory of the twenty-eight statutory bodies, by region, with names and phone numbers. These bodies may report and demand deletion even when they are not the victim, which makes this the first place to look when acting alone is too much. Outside Seoul, the regional body is often faster.
What this channel asks for- Pick the body that covers your region
- The facts of the harm and the post URLs
- Most bodies start with a phone consultation

KISA personal information infringement report centre
You file this yourselfThe place to report a face or a voice collected and used without consent, treated as a personal information breach. The line is 118, and intake is split for people under and over 14. Illegal filming is not handled here but by the standards commission and the statutory bodies, so do not mix the two windows.
What this channel asks for- The service where it happened and when
- Which information was used without consent
- Saved screenshots

Global platforms
YouTube privacy complaint
You file this yourselfYouTube only accepts a complaint when you are uniquely identifiable in the video, so blurred or fleeting appearances are commonly rejected; give exact timestamps. For a deceased person, close family or a legal representative may file once the death is verified, and illegally filmed content goes through a separate legal webform.
What this channel asks for- You must be uniquely identifiable in the content
- The video URL and the timestamps where you appear
- An explanation of what was used without consent

Instagram impersonation report
You file this yourselfCovers Instagram and Threads, and Meta states it acts only on reports from the impersonated person or an authorized representative such as a parent or legal guardian. It asks for a photo ID, so a mandate alone rarely carries a filing. An inexact username stops the report at intake.
What this channel asks for- Your full name and email address
- The full name of the person being impersonated
- The username of the reported account
- A photo of an ID
https://help.instagram.com/contact/636276399721841Open the reporting page
Facebook impersonation report
You file this yourselfMeta states plainly that it acts only on reports from the impersonated person or an official representative such as a parent or legal guardian, so a friend filing for someone else is rejected. Paste the account URL exactly as it appears on the profile.
What this channel asks for- The URL or name of the impersonating account
- Whether the impersonated person is you
- Identity documentation

TikTok privacy report
You file this yourselfThe portal branches by what you pick first, such as being impersonated, harassed, or a privacy concern, and the later questions follow from that choice. It publishes nothing about representative filings, so treat it as a self-filed channel. Save the URL and a screenshot first, because a deleted video is hard to establish.
What this channel asks for- A report type, such as impersonation, harassment or a privacy concern
- The URL of the video or account
- Material that establishes who you are

Telegram abuse report
Rightis can file this for youTelegram handles unlawful content in public channels, groups, bots and sticker sets, and states it does not process requests about private chats and groups. Email means no account is needed, so a representative can file, but harm spreading in private rooms needs police and a support centre instead. Copyright goes to dmca@telegram.org.
What this channel asks for- The link to the public channel, group, bot or sticker set
- An explanation of what makes it unlawful
- Saved screenshots

X impersonation report
You file this yourselfLink not confirmedThis page blocks automated fetching, so its contents could not be read. What it demands and whether it accepts a representative are both unconfirmed, so open it and check before relying on it, and put it behind the channels that were verified.
What this channel asks for- The username of the impersonating account
- Identity documentation
- The URLs of the posts at issue

What Rightis does for you
Only the things we actually do.
- We write the report and build the evidence bundle
The screens you saved, the URLs and the check results, arranged in the shape the channel asks for.
- We file where the channel accepts a representative
Channels that take reports by email, we send. Form channels, we file only where the channel states that a representative may.
- Six form channels require a mandate letter
Naver, Kakao and Daum, both Google windows, the standards commission and Clien require a signed mandate letter and a copy of your ID. An operator contacts you for them, and we file after they arrive.
- Only the victim can file with the police
The Korean National Police cybercrime system accepts a filing from the victim alone. We cannot file it for you, so we prepare the report and you submit it yourself.
We never file in your name without your consent. Whether a post comes down, and when, is decided by each channel.
Common questions
- What do I do first?
- Save the evidence. Capture the whole screen so the page is visible and save the URL with it. Posts disappear without warning, and a report with no evidence is usually rejected.
- Do I need an account to see the channels?
- No. The directory on this page is free to read and needs no account. Registration only comes in when you want us to prepare the report text and the evidence bundle.
- Does Rightis file the report for me?
- Only where the channel states that it accepts a representative. Email channels we send; the six form channels we file after a signed mandate letter and an ID copy reach us. Channels that state only the person concerned may file are ones we cannot file at, so we prepare the report and you submit it.
- Can you report to the police for me?
- No. The Korean National Police cybercrime report system accepts a filing from the victim alone. Representatives and third parties are told to visit a police station, call 182, or use the citizen petition portal.
Two things to do now
Save the evidence and tell us. Shaping it to fit each channel is our part.
